GAWAD KALINGA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION, INC. (“GK Foundation”) is committed to protect and safeguard the interests of the poor and to uphold the integrity and heroism of its workers and volunteers.
To protect the public from being taken advantage of by unscrupulous people using the name and goodwill of “Gawad Kalinga,” and/or “GK”, we would like to advise the public that:
1. There are groups and/or individuals who are soliciting funds purportedly on behalf of GK or claiming to be partners and/or volunteers of GK but will use the funds solicited for their personal benefit or for projects not related to GK.
2. GK Foundation issues official receipts for all donations in cash or kind, and issues certificates of donation for these transactions.
3. All partnerships or groups authorized by GK to act as its agent or partners must have a duly executed Memorandum of Agreement signed by Executive Director of GK Foundation, Mr. Jose Luis Oquinena.
