This is a monthly build to create opportunities for our beloved Gawad Kalinga Shaw Keegan family located at Brgy. Escopa 3, Project 4, Quezon City.
Activities: Simultaneous house build and workshops for kids and adults of the community.
GK Shaw Keegan Target: Construction of 65 homes for 69 adults (Kapitbahayans) and 100 children.
Bahay ng Pag-Asa Project Duration: Monthly build beginning on June 2013. |

ACTIVITIES:
House Build
- Digging, shoveling, leveling, painting.
ADDITIONAL BUILD MATERIALS NEEDED (optional):
primer (white), paint brush, paint roller, paint basin, hammer, steel saw, mallet, chisel, measuring tape,
NOTES:
- Hand gloves (cloth) will NOT be provided, we suggest that you bring a pair please.
REGISTRATION FEE (PAYMENT AT THE VENUE):
Php 150.00 - Inclusive of Boodle lunch (volunteers and GK Shaw Keegan community) lovingly prepared by the community, build materials.
Registration starts 8 am (sharp).
PROGRAM PROPER:
8:00 - 8:30 am -Registration and assembly at GK SHAW KEEGAN site
8:30 am - Deployment of Builders to build site
8:45 am - 11:45 am - Build proper
11:45 am - 12:00 nn - Builders to head back to Assembly site
12:00 - 1:00 pm - Boodle lunch break at Assembly site.
1:00 -2:00 pm - Return to build site
2:00 - 3:00 pm - Processing for volunteers

To liven up, train, and enhance the talents and capabilities of the community and encourage volunteers to share their knowledge and talents even after the build/project proper. |

COMMUTE DIRECTIONS:
From Katipunan:
- Go down at Mini-stop Katipunan near Aurora boulevard.
- Cross Aurora boulevard and go to the side of PSBA.
- Walk down Aurora Boulevard going towards the direction of Cubao, then take the first right.
- Take a tricycle or walk and go to Barangay Escopa 3 covered court across multi-purpose buildings.
From Cubao:
- From Farmer's market at Cubao, take LRT going to Katipunan Station.
- Go down at Katipunan station, side of Philippine School of Business Administration.
- Walk down Aurora Blvd going towards the direction of Cubao, then take the first right.
- Take a tricycle and go to Barangay Escopa 3 covered court across multi-purpose buildings.
*FOR PRIVATE VEHICLES, SECURED FREE PARKING SLOTS ARE RESERVED RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE COVERED COURT AND MULTI-PURPOSE BUILDINGS.
