DBP Supports Bayani Challenge 2014
[Date Created: April 28, 2014]

by Claire Ericta

The Development Bank of the Philippines' (DBP) roots can be traced back to post WWII rehabilitation efforts. As their old name Rehabilitation Finance Centre suggests, they opened up credit facilities that aided in the reconstruction of properties damaged by the war. Guided by this purpose of accelerating national development, they've expanded to lend resources to small-medium scale industries, especially those that benefit the countryside.

Today, DBP recalled all this and intends to honor this history by participating in Yolanda reconstruction efforts. They will organize financial and manpower resources from headquarters and local chapters in support of Bayani Challenge 2014.

What are you waiting for? Bring in your organizations, families and friends and register for Bayani Challenge 2014: www.bayanichallenge.com. Let's all spend some time this summer rebuilding Yolanda-affected areas!
