GK for Grant Institutions

Gawad Kalinga has developed a template to end poverty for a family, and is tried and tested and has been found replicable even in other developing nations in the world. †What we need now are grant institutions who can now help us scale up and reach more families by providing the organization with the fuel it needs to grow.

  1. Organizational Build-Up - Invest in our organization, and we'll commit to do more! Today, GK has a lean team of fulltime workers who make the work happen, but there is more to be done if we are able to train and recruit more to be part of our team.

  2. Scale up and Sustainability - We need grant institutions to look at our various models and help invest in large-scale projects that can impact more people in a given community. Individual and corporate partners are doing their share in raising resources, but we can tap grant institutions that are looking for credible and high impact projects like Gawad Kalinga, and help us reach more families faster!

  3. IT Infrastructure - Because most of our funds go directly to the poor, GK is looking for partners who can help keep us up to date with the latest technologies, so that we can streamline operations and also reach more people through our global movement online.

  4. Research - We are also looking for partners who will help us measure our impact in the various communities we serve. †With almost 2,000 communities in the Philippines alone, GK needs partners who can embark on research projects in each of these areas to help us quantify and assess the work that we are able to do on ground.
