Partnerships Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Planning

  • Actively seeks out corporations, groups and other sectors of society to inspire them to get involved in GK to achieve overall marketing objective.
  • Creates a strategic plan on how to reach them and what activities will be effective for them.
  • Upon request of prospective partners, presents GK through audio-visual presentation, site visits, and meetings to form new partnerships; does the same to current partners to grow existing partnerships.
  • Performs adhoc tasks  that may be assigned by Head of Partnerships from time to time.

Partnership Management

  • Manages the entire friend-raising process for current GK partners.
  • Presents GK through customized presentations, site visits and meetings.
  • Captures agreements in meetings and ensures timely follow-through on actions.
  • Facilitates MOA or contract signing to close the deal and follow-up necessary documentation.
  • Monitors development of partner projects and initiatives and submits agreed regular reporting.

Team Delivery

  • Delivers against set resource generation targets by developing monthly work plan.
  • Regularly updates Partnerships Group on delivery and shares best practices & learnings.
  • Ensures that all steps to the partnership process are properly documented offline (PG monitoring) and online (GK Unity)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College Graduate preferably in Business Management or Marketing
  • At least 2 years experience in managing activities related to accounts or partnership management.
  • A missionary and willing to work for a non-profit organization.

Communications and Marketing Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Communications & Marketing Manager works to increase Gawad Kalinga’s visibility and brand among its publics and stakeholders, and to support its resource mobilization goals. He/she will develop and execute campaigns, conduct media relations, develop communication and marketing materials, and contribute to strategic planning. He/she will also be tasked to work with different groups, both internal and external, to promote the organization to new audiences.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with special focus on content and copy writing
  • Ability to develop and implement communications, marketing, and fundraising strategies
  • Ability to represent the organization to its external audiences in a variety of settings
  • A self-starter with good judgment, the ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment, and adapt quickly to changing needs and priorities
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other related software
  • Have a good understanding of the latest trends in digital and advocacy marketing

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College graduate preferably with a degree in Marketing/Advertising, Communication Arts, or any related field
  • Senior level work experience in the field of marketing or communications
  • Must have the ability to work and interact with different groups and people from all walks of life
  • Must have the passion to use one’s skills and abilities for nation-building
  • Must be willing to work in Mandaluyong area

Quality Assurance Engineer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct system testing
  • Create test scripts, functional documents, etc.
  • Track deployments, issues and fixes

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Candidate must possess at least a High School Diploma, Bachelor's/College Degree or equivalent.
  • Required skill(s): Familiarity with Software Testing Process, Knowledgeable in Agile Methodology.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position, fresh grads will be considered
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Mandaluyong.

Bookkeeper

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support for monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Prepare journal entries.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Finance/Accounting/Banking or equivalent. (CPA license is not necessary)
  • Must be knowledgeable with the accounting cycle and bank reconciliation. Strong ability to analyze financial transactions.
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.

Senior Community/Enterprise Development Coordinator

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates and helps implement community and economic enterprise development projects including all activities related to the implementation of effective community building, community organizing and community livelihood programs.
  • Oversees coordination of all inquiries for community projects; responds in a timely and accurate way to community-based groups and partner organizations.
  • Organizes training and workshops for the community organizations and leaders about how to create and implement strong livelihood programs, including values formation classes and its follow up courses.
  • Source potential funding for the enterprises and prepares applications.
  • Shares responsibility for the ongoing maintenance of research and data information including measurement of social impact; following-up community meetings or connections, shares information about community resources with Executive Director.
  • Coordinates and helps implement community and economic development projects.
  • Identifies resources to provide technical assistance to community groups in the administration of grants including preparation of required reports and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare studies, reports, plans and other pertinent information on community initiatives and potential community projects.
  • Serves as a liaison as needed on boards, meetings and events.
  • May be tapped as Community Organizer as well.
  • Does any other assignment that may be given by immediate superior.

Enterprise Coordinator

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing all tasks that relate to assigned communities and social enterprises.
  • Manages all vendor relationships that require products or services from assigned social enterprises/communities.
  • Prepare paperwork such as expenses, invoices, as well as budgetary and progress reports.
  • Reports directly to the Executive Director who might assign tasks relevant to the work involved
