Enderun Colleges formalizes partnership with Gawad Kalinga

Enderun Colleges has formalized the partnership with Gawad Kalinga in Sustainable Corporate Social Responsibility and Community Development last February 8, 2017 at their campus in McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio Taguig. The College is known in the areas of hotel administration, culinary arts and pioneering a program that combines management and sustainability. Gawad Kalinga aims to uplift poor communities to improve their quality of life through partnering with different institutions."Gawad Kalinga and Enderun Colleges are now partners in sustainable CSR and community development," said Bryan Benitez McClelland, Director of Sustainability.
The College initiated several programs such as empowering the small “sari-sari” store owners, which is mostly women in Taguig communities by teaching them basic bookkeeping according to their President, Dr. Edgardo Rodriguez. The College also allows their students to gain experiential learning through visiting different Gawad Kalinga communities around Taguig.
On the same day, a signing ceremony was held with DVTECH, also a long term media partner of Gawad Kalinga, for the launch of the Sustainability Conference website that is available on pay-per-view. This website will allow the viewers to gain insights about the sustainability journeys of their featured industry experts. Gawad Kalinga, Enderun and DVTECH are committed to have this partnership sustainable.
